Nokes Homecoming

I love homecomings and especially ones with children. There is nothing like seeing a child's face when they see their dad for the first time after months of being away. I am so glad I got to capture The Nokes Family homecoming. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special moment. Welcome Home!

The Dagher Family

What another sweet & beautiful family I got to photograph! This was extra special becuase Andrew just got home a few weeks ago from a deployment in Afghanistan. I had the priviledge of doing their homecoming and being able to capture the moment of Andrew seeing his wife & son after several months of being away. Their little boy Jayden is just soo adorable! I just want to squeeze those little cheeks of his. Thank you Dagher family! Hope to see you guys again!

The Watsons

The Watsons are such a cute little family! Jax is just too cute for words but then again look at who his parents are. So glad that I got to do their family photos. I can't believe how big Jax has got . I remember when he was in his mommy's tummy. Time goes by way too fast! What a sweet little family!

The Collins Family

Not that long ago I did the Collins Maternity photos. I had so much fun with the two of them. They were glowing with excitment and you could see the love they had between the two of them. I was so excited when I found out Keagan was born! I was crossing fingers that I would get to do photos of the little guy. When Nikki asked me to do them I was so excited! Keagan is such a handsome little boy. I also have to say how in love his parents are with him. It is so great to see a father who has so much love and a mother her smiles ear to ear over her little one. I had so much fun with this little family and I hope to capture more moments with them and watch Keagan grow. Thank you again for letting me capture a moment of yours.!

P.S. Some more exciting news is The Collins just bought a home! Keagan is going to have a great first Christmas in his new home!

The McKinney Girls

Mandy was a model  for me while she was pregnant. If you have ever seen my first business cards she was on it!  I was so excited when she asked for me to come take some photos of her and her new daughter Gracie for "Buck" Mandy's husband. He is deployed at the moment. He will get to meet his beautiful daugther soon and I just know he will fall in love. I bet she will have him wrapped! I had so much fun getting to capture Mandy and Gracie. There is nothing more beautiful than a mother and her child. I even go to take some of their dog Roxy. I adore the photo of Gracie and her "daddy doll." Soon Gracie will have the real thing to hold on to!  Thank you so much Mandy for letting me capture your moments . I had a good time & I am so happy for Gracie to get to meet her daddy!

I need to blog more..

I got the blog so I could share photos and show off all the "beautiful" families I get to work with. I apologize for not being that great at doing it lately. As many of you know, I recently was withou a computer for a week! Ahhh..My closest friends know that I was not a happy person during this time. I do apologize to them for acting a little well, "crazy." Now that I am back into business, I will be blogging more. Thank everyone for viewing my website,Facebook page, and blog. It means a lot when I read your sweet comments. I am so blessed for the support system that I have and of course my amazing husband who supported me from the moment I said..." I think I want to be a photographer.." I am glad that I took that leap. I have met some amazing families, I have got to be part of helping families make memories to cherish for a lifetime. Thank all of you for letting me have that opportunity!

Danny + Savannah/Just Because/Monroe,Georgia

Savannah was my VERY first friend. We met on the bus when we were in kindergarten. We use to spend days and weekends with each other and of course wear matching shirts. Those were the days...No worries in the world. When I said I was coming to Georgia Savannah said her and her man wanted some photos done and of course I said YES!! It was a pleasure doing her & Danny's *Just Because* photo shoot. By the way Danny is such a sweetheart. I'm glad that Savannah found him. I can't wait to come back & do their *She said YES!* photos when he pops the question. But  I can tell that they are the "one" for each other.  Their session was a lot of fun and enjoyed being able to do them at different locations. I also enjoyed being able to spend time with my first friend & seeing her happy in love. So here are some pictures from beautiful Savannah and sweet Danny's photo shoot. Enjoy!

Expecting Baby Xander/Maternity/Good Hope,Georgia

I went to school with Candice. So I have known her for a while. I was super excited when she asked if I would do her maternity photos! This is her second boy! I loved the field that we did the photos at across from where her parents live in Good Hope. I had a lot of fun and can't wait to see Xander when he is born. I remember going to the hospital to see her first when he was born which seems like yesterday. Time sure does fly! Here are some photos from her session. Check out this glowing mommy!

Willoughby Family Session/Loganville Georgia

It was awesome to have the opportunity to photograph The Willoughbys not just because they are such a beautiful family but I went to school with Ashley. I remember her picking me up for school in her white Honda.  I also remember her still looking as beautiful as ever when she was pregnant with Lason. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I had so much fun at their photo session. Lason was so adorable as every time he smiled he would say " I love chickens!! " So cute! I just love hearing him talk, he has an adorable country accent and a personally to go along with it. It was such a pleasure to work with a beautiful & sweet family!

Justin & Alyssa -Our Family-

Justin and my husband Matt were in the same Battalion for years. They have had deployments together and have become good friends. Good friends are hard to find. There are ones that are there to come to your cookout and say hi every once in a while then there are friends that are "family".  Ones that if your car breaks down they would be there in a heartbeat . I remember when Justin told me about Alyssa. Oh he was so in love with her. I hadn't even seen them around each other but I could just tell by the smile Justin had talking about her and how great she was. Alyssa fit  perfectly in the the rest of our "crazy military" family. She tells it like it is. Which is hard quality to find in people. You can't be around her for more than five minutes without laughing.  I was always waiting around for Justin to propose! I would pick on him asking.."Umm..When are you going to pop the question?" I remember the day that Matt came home and told me that Justin was going to propose to Alyssa during their post deployment leave. I was sooo excited! I wanted to text her but of course Justin & Matt would have killed me if I would have ruined the surprise. Oh the suspense was killing  me then....I got the text!! I was so happy for them! I love being married, I personally think it is the best thing in the world. Having someone to always talk to and share your life with. I  knew that Justin & Alyssa would get to have that too. Justin is head over heels for Alyssa. He is such a good man to her. He treats her like a man should treat a woman. I love seeing them together and the "love" they have for each other.  They are also so awesome to me! They have helped me so much through my husband's current deployment. They have "Sunday Night Dinner" and Justin comes and cuts my grass. I know that they would do anything for us and I hope they know that we would do anything for them. We are so blessed to know them and have them in our life and as a part of our "military family". I enjoyed getting to take their photos. When Alyssa asked me a while back I was more than excited to have the opportunity to capture their love on camera.
I love you guys! xoxo

Ducat Homecoming/Camp Lejeune

I enjoyed working with Aly. She was such a sweetheart and so head over heels for her man. I could even hear just over emails how excited she was. It made me smile so big when I would check my email and get her updates. I couldn't wait to be a part of her homecoming! I loved her countdown. She would say ___days & __ wake up. I loved it! Her husband came home on a bright & sunny afternoon. The sun was out alright. It was HOTT! Aly was so sweet by making sure that I kept hydrated. She was very concerned for me. I enjoyed talking to Aly and her husband's family as they wait patiently (well maybe not so patiently...I mean HE WAS COMING HOME!! ) They go to see my "happy dance" which they seemed to enjoy. As soon as I see the buses I do my "happy dance". I was soo excited!! Tears started coming from my eyes out of happiness then I saw some come from Aly's. It was time. The time she had been counting down for. The time that all the letters, phone calls and sleepless nights add up to. I couldn't wait to capture their first hug. Aly saw him & RAN! It was magical! If you have never been to a military homecoming it is pretty much one of the best events EVER. So I pretty much have one of the best jobs EVER.  It was such a pleasure working with the Ducats. Thank you Aly for letting me be a part of your special day. I am so glad your husband made it back to your arms safely. Here are some shots from that special day. You may cry so hope you have a tissue near by.
